1. About these terms

These terms describe the conditions for using FurryDesk’s website, scheduling software, business workspaces, and booking tools. In these terms, “we” means FurryDesk and “you” means the person or business using the service. The service is primarily intended for users in the United States.

These terms apply when you create an account or use the service. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind that business. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract.

2. Accounts and access

Provide accurate account information, keep it current, and protect your credentials. Business owners are responsible for managing team access and activity they authorize. Do not share credentials with unauthorized people or access another business’s records. Notify us promptly if you suspect your account has been compromised.

3. Grooming services and bookings

FurryDesk supplies software; the grooming business supplies the grooming service. Each business is responsible for its services, prices, availability, pet care decisions, cancellation rules, refunds, and customer communications. FurryDesk does not provide veterinary advice or guarantee the quality or suitability of grooming services.

Customers must provide accurate booking and pet information and review the business’s policies before booking. Direct appointment changes, service complaints, deposit questions, and grooming refund requests to the business. Any deposit or cancellation terms presented by that business apply in addition to these software terms, subject to applicable law.

4. Trials, subscriptions, and payments

FurryDesk offers a 14-day trial without requiring a credit card. Continued access to paid features requires a subscription. Available features, worker limits, SMS allowances, prices, and any promotional conditions are shown in the plan selection and checkout experience.

When you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorize recurring charges at the price and billing interval shown at checkout until canceled. Applicable taxes and payment terms are disclosed during purchase. Manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal available in workspace billing settings. Review the cancellation confirmation for the date paid access ends. Canceling billing does not itself delete your account or business records.

Any refund entitlement follows the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law. Payment failures may limit access to paid features. Material price changes will be communicated before they apply to a future billing period. Stripe processes payments under its applicable terms. Grooming deposits are separate from your FurryDesk subscription.

5. Your records and permissions

You retain your rights in the client, pet, appointment, and other content you submit. You grant FurryDesk permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content as necessary to provide and secure the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your records to us.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of your content, required privacy notices, and the permissions needed to upload and use personal information. Keep independent copies of records you need for your business. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

6. Messaging and acceptable use

Use email and SMS features only for lawful communications with appropriate permission. Businesses must obtain and maintain any required consent, respect opt-outs, and distinguish appointment messages from rebooking or promotional communications. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of SMS. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Delivery depends on providers and carriers and is not guaranteed.

Do not use FurryDesk for spam, fraud, unlawful content, harassment, infringement, malware, or unauthorized collection of personal information. Do not bypass access controls, probe other users’ records, disrupt the service, or evade plan and usage limits.

7. Our software and third-party services

FurryDesk and its licensors retain rights in the software, design, branding, and other service materials. While you comply with these terms, you may use the service for its intended purpose within your plan. You may not resell access or copy proprietary service materials without permission, except as permitted by law.

Integrated payment, messaging, and other third-party services may have separate terms. Their availability and operation can affect FurryDesk features. Features may change, and maintenance or provider interruptions can cause downtime.

8. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using the service at any time and cancel recurring billing through workspace billing settings. Contact us to request account closure or discuss access to your records before closing the workspace.

We may restrict or suspend access for nonpayment, material violations of these terms, security threats, or legal requirements. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue; urgent security or legal situations may require immediate action. Record retention after closure is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every business need. Verify schedules, payment status, and critical records, and maintain an alternative way to contact customers when needed.

To the extent permitted by law, FurryDesk is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or missed business opportunities, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or limits mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes, disputes, and contact

We will post updated terms with a revised date and give notice of material changes before they take effect where required. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the service and cancel any subscription before the change applies.

Contact FurryDesk first to discuss a dispute concerning the software or subscription. These terms do not require arbitration or waive rights you have under applicable law. Applicable United States federal and state law governs as determined by the court with jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory protections where you live.
